~ Instructions for using the NAPHA Online Stud Book ~

Welcome to the Online Peruvian Horse Stud Book. The stud book contains any information you may wish to find about breeders and horses. It is searchable by eleven different fields. The fields may be selected from the drop down box on the right. The fields must be used in conjunction with the type of information contained in that field. DO NOT USE PUNCTUATION MARKS such as commas.

Following is the type of information that is searchable through the database:

Anything you want to search for In drop down box select: ALL FIELDS
Anything matching what you typed on the left will appear.
5215 In drop down box select: REGISTRATION NUMBER
The horse whose registration number is 5215 will appear.
You must enter at least two characters to perform a search.
*PLEASE NOTE: On registration numbers 1-9 please enter a space before the number, i.e. searching for registration number 3 you would press your space bar and enter the number 3.  The space counts as one character. 
JOR Linaje In drop down box select: HORSE NAME
All information on JOR Linaje will appear
5215 In drop down box select: SIRE NUMBER
All the horses sired by stallion 5215 will appear
5207 In drop down box select: DAM NUMBER
All the foals of mare 5207 will appear
Green Gate In drop down box select: OWNERS RANCH NAME
All horses owned by Green Gate Ranch will appear
Terry Ellis In drop down box select: OWNERS NAME
All the horses owned by Terry Ellis will appear
Burleson TX In drop down box select: OWNERS CITY & STATE
All owners in Burleson TX will appear
Silver Creek In drop down box select: BREEDERS RANCH NAME
All horses bred by that ranch name will appear
Raul del Solar In drop down box select: BREEDERS NAME
All horses bred by that breeder will appear
Santa Ynez CA In drop down box select: BREEDERS CITY & STATE
All breeders in Santa Ynez CA will appear (Note: All state names are abbreviated)

The Stud Book is simple to use. You must remember to type the correct type of information pertaining to the fields in the drop down box to obtain searches. When in doubt, just use "All Fields".  It will find anything! If you have any questions, please email us and we will be happy to answer them.
